PROJECT: NIE PHASE 2 - MATERIAL RECYCLING LOCATION: COLERAINE
PHASE 2 OF THE NIE SUBSTATION RELOCATION CONSISTED OF GATHERING STOCKPILES FROM PHASE 1, AND BRINGING IN EQUIPMENT TO SUBSEQUENTLY CRUSH EXCESS MATERIAL ON-SITE. WE RECYCLED SOME OF THE CRUSHED MATERIAL ON THE SITE TO FORM A MORE STABLE ENTRANCE FOR NIE LORRIES, AND TRANSPORTED THE REST OF MATERIAL OFF SITE TO A FUTURE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT TO BE USED AS LANE WAYS AND SITE PARKING
PROJECT: HEDGE REMOVAL/SITE CLEARANCE LOCATION: COLERAINE
A NEIGHBOURING COMMERCIAL CLIENT TO ONE OF OUR PREVIOUS PROJECTS ASKED US TO COMPLETE THE REMOVAL OF A HEDGE AND SURROUNDING BUSHES. LOCATED BESIDE OTHER UNITS, AND TAKING INTO ACCOUNT PUBLIC WALKWAYS, WE CONDUCTED THE WORKS AND REMOVED ALL HEDGING LEAVING THE CUSTOMER WITH A BANKED SLOPE TO WHICH THE NEXT BUILDING CONTRACTOR WILL PUT A WALL. WE ALSO IDENTIFIED AT PRE EXCAVATION - A CABLE WELL WHICH WE CONDUCTED A REPORT ON AND HANDED TO CLIENT FOR FUTURE KNOWLEDGE AT NO EXTRA COST
PROJECT: NIE PHASE 1 - SUBSTATION SITE CLEARANCE LOCATION: COLERAINE
AS INSTRUCTED BY A NEW COMMERCIAL CLIENT, TO AID THE RELOCATION OF AN EXISTING HIGH VOLTAGE NIE ELECTRICITY SUBSTATION, WE CARRIED OUT THE CLEARANCE OF THE SITE WHERE NEW HV CABLES WILL BE LAID AS WELL AS THE SUBSTATION BASE, LIASING WITH NIE CONTRACTORS AND PROJECT MANAGERS TO IDENTIFY NEW ROUTES AND EXPLORE OPTIONS WITH NEW FINDINGS FROM CLEARED SITE. WE CONDUCTED THE WORKS TAKING INTO ACCOUNT HEALTH & SAFETY ON-SITE AND RISKS ASSICIATED WITH HV CABLES.
PROJECT: COMMERCIAL UNIT - STRIP OUT LOCATION: COLERAINE
WE WERE AWARDED A LARGE SCALE, FULL STRIP OUT OF A COMMERCIAL UNIT IN COLERAINE. THE SCOPE OF THE WORKS WAS TO RETAIN THE EXISTING BUILDING WHILE STRIPPING OUT THE FULL TWO UNITS, INCLUDING THE HIGH LEVEL EUROSPAN PARTY WALL, BATHROOMS, KITCHENS, RECESSED CEILINGS AND ANY OTHER INTERNAL ELEMENTS AND FITTINGS, BRINGING THE BUILDING ESSENTIALLY BACK TO BRICK. WE LIAISED WITH ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS TO DISCONNECT ALL LIVE SUPPLY TO THE BUILDINGS, AND PLUMBERS TO DISCONNECT WATER SUPPLIES. RECYCLING WAS HELD IN HIGH REGARD ON THIS CONTRACT TO WHICH WE WERE ABLE TO SEGREGATE AND RECYCLE ALL REFUSE MATERIALS ON-SITE.
PROJECT: REDUCE DIG LOCATION: RICHHILL, ARMAGH
OFF THE BACK OF ANOTHER CUSTOMERS JOB, A NEIGHBOUR CALLED ON OUR TEAM TO COMPLETED A REDUCE DIG INSIDE OF A BACK GARDEN. WE USED OUR 3 TON MINI EXCAVATOR TO COMPLETE THE WORKS DUE TO WORKING IN REDUCED SPACE. WE LIAISED WITH BUILDING CONTRACTOR TO OBTAIN CORRECT LEVELS, CARRIED OUT THE REDUCE DIG AND REMOVED EXCESS SPOIL OFF SITE, WHILE CAREFULLY REMOVING OLD DRAINS AND INSERTING FULL NEW DRAINAGE ON SITE. WE THEN IMPORTED STONE TO SITE AND INSERTED A MEMBRANE UNDERLAY TO WHICH WE APPLIED THE STONE ON. WE LEFT THIS JOB WITH A FLAT SURFACE BELOW LEVEL FOR THE BUILDING CONTRACTOR TO BUILD UPON.
PROJECT: REDUCE DIG & LANE FORMATION LOCATION: MARKETHILL
AN EXISTING CLIENT DRAFTED US IN TO COMPLETE A REDUCE DIG AND LANEWAY INSTALLATION AROUND A COW SHED OF WHICH WE COMPLETED THE EARTHMOVING FOR, ALSO AIDING OTHER CONTRACTORS ON THE JOB. WE USED RECYCLED MATERIAL FILL WHICH WE LAID DOWN AFTER WE COMPLETED THE REDUCE DIG, THEN ORDERING IN CLEAN STONE TO FINISH OVER THE TOP OF THE RECYCLED FILL, LEAVING A SURFACE READY FOR LORRIES AND HEAVY FARM VEHICLES TO USE.
PROJECT: CARPARK REFINISH LOCATION: HILLSBROUGH
OUR GROUNDWORKS TEAM WERE BROUGHT IN TO COMPLETE AN OVERHAUL OF THE CAR PARK AND SURROUNDING LANDSCAPE OF A CAR SALES BUILDING. WE COMPLETED THESE WORKS OUT OF NORMAL HOURS SO NOT TO DISRUPT THE EVERYDAY BUSINESS OF THE CAR SALES UNIT. THIS WAS COMPLETED OVER 3 EVENINGS AND WE WERE ABLE TO RECYCLE MATERIALS SUCH AS THE EXISTING GRAVEL AND REUSE ON THE CARPARK, SAVING ANY EXTRA COST FOR THE CUSTOMER. WE ALSO BURIED PREVIOUSLY UNEARTHED CABLES, MARLING APPROPRIATELY FOR ANY FUTURE CONTRATORS
PROJECT: SITE CLEARANCE LOCATION: COLERAINE
WE COMPLETED A LARGE SITE CLEARANCE AND SOIL INVESTIGATION WORKS FOR A CLIENT. WE LIASED WITH ON-SITE ENGINEERS AND EXTERNAL PARTIES TO COMPLETE TEST PLOTS, PRIOR TO WHICH WE PROVIDED A CLEARED LEVEL SITE ON WHICH TO CARRY OUT SUCH SOIL INVESTIGATIONS. WE ALSO PROVIDED A PRELIMINARY RISK ASSESSMENT DUE TO UNDERGROUND SERVICES PRESENT AND MARKED OUT A NO DIG ZONE ON SITE WHICH WE MADE ALL ON-SITE VISORS AWARE OF. WE ARE PLEASED TO HAVE SINCE BEEN GRANTED THE GROUNDWORKS CONTRACT FOR THIS SITE, COMMENCING MID 2023

ON THIS LARGE AGRICULTURAL JOB WE COMPLETED THE GROUNDWORKS ALONG WITH VARIOUS CONTRACTORS TO PROVIDE WORKS SUCH AS; LARGE SCALE EARTHMOVING, GROUND RESTRUCTURE AND COMPACTION, ACCESS LANES, DRAINAGE, TOPSOIL STOCKPILING. WE ALSO PROVIDED PLANT HIRE TO THE OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS TO AID WITH THEIR PART ON THIS JOB.
PROJECT: LAND RESTRUCTURE/REDUCE DIG LOCATION: BANGOR
ON THIS JOB THE OWNER REQUESTED A FULL RESTRUCTURE DUE TO A STEEP INCLINE ON ONE SIDE, WHERE BY WE ESSENTIALLY COMPLETED A REDUCE DIG TO BRING THE HEIGHT DOWN, CLEANING DRAINS ALONG THE WAY AND LEAVING A MORE FLATTER LAND FOR THE OWNER. WE THEN REVISITED THIS SITE TO COMPLETE DRAINAGE WORKS
PROJECT: EQUESTRIAN GALLOP INSTALLATION LOCATION: ARMAGH
WE HAPPILY SUPPLIED THE CUSTOMER WITH AN EQUESTRIAN GALLOP TRACK TO SUIT THEIR NEEDS. WE PLANNED THIS JOB TO TAKE PLACE DURING CULTIVATION OF CHOSEN FIELDS TO ENSURE REDUCED DAMAGE/GROUND COMPACTION FOR CROPS. WE DUG AND STOCKPILED TOPSOIL THAT WAS REMOVED, AND SOURCED WOOD-CHIP WHICH WE LAID ON THE PATH, WE ADDED BANKED CORNERS TO ONE OF THE PATHS WHICH THE CLIENT WAS VERY HAPPY WITH.
PROJECT: DEMOLITION LOCATION: MARKETHILL
WE COMPLETED THIS DEMOLITION JOB OF AN OLD FARM STRUCTURE LEAVING A CLEAR PAD WHERE THE BUILDING STOOD, TAKING THE EXCESS RUBBLE, CRUSHING AND REUSING ON AN UNUSED LANE CREATING A USABLE ACCESS FOR HEAVY VEHICLES TO AND FROM THE FARM. WE ALSO WORKED WITH THE LAND OWNER TO COMPLETE VARIUS AGRICULTURAL WORKS WHILE ON SITE.

WORKING WITHIN A GARDEN, WE SUCCESSFULLY OPENED UP AN AREA THAT WAS OVERGROWN FOR A CUSTOMER AND FIXED A LEAKING WATERPIPE ALONG WITH OTHER SMALL WORKS REQUESTED

OUR DEMOLITION AND STRIP OUT TEAM COMPLETED THIS COMMERCIAL UNIT WITHIN 5 DAYS, LEAVING THE CLIENT WITH A CLEAN AND CLEARED UNIT TO THEN RENT OUT TO A COMMERCIAL TENANT. THE SCOPE OF WORKS WAS TO COMPLETE THE REMOVAL OF HIGH LEVEL PLY USED PREVIOUSLY FOR SEPERATION, REMOVE FLOOR RUBBLE, DISMANTLE AND REMOVE CEILINGS AND FIXINGS. WE THEN RECYCLED ALL STEEL WORK, WOOD, RUBBLE AND CLEANED THE UNIT READY FOR HANDOVER BACK TO THE CLIENT. WE APPLIED DUST DAMPENING ON THIS PROJECT ALONG WITH FULL RISK ASSESSMENTS AND PROVIDED THE CLIENT WITH A DETAILED WORKS SCHEDULE DUE TO NEIGHBOURING HOUSES.
